The Label
Tufar Records was founded in 2024 by Hernán Montúfar — known as Montu — with a clear mission: change the urban scene. Not just add to it. Change it. Montu operates at every layer of the creative process as artist, producer, beatmaker, fashion designer, and CEO — uniting gothic aesthetics with Latin urban culture.
Our roster spans continents: from reggaeton and trap in Latin America, to Afro-fusion rhythms from Ghana, to high-end synth production from Germany. Every sound at Tufar is deliberate. Every artist brings a perspective the scene hasn't heard yet.
Driven by Montu's vision and a team of seven across marketing, operations, composition, and production — we build without compromise. Artist by artist. Track by track. Sound by sound.
